Dallas Joseph Marceaux Jr.

KAPLAN—Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at a 2 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Dallas Joseph Marceaux Jr., 65, who died Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. He was laid to rest at Petry Cemetery with Reverend Matthew Barzare officiating the services.
He is survived by two sons, Kevin Marceaux and his wife, Valerie of Abbeville, Cody Marceaux and his wife, Brandy of Kaplan; two daughters, Christina and her husband, Christopher Guidry of Kaplan, Kayla and her husband, Lucas Arcement of Kaplan; parents, Dallas Joseph Marceaux Sr. and Helena of Lake Charles; one sister, Janice and her husband, Skip Weeks of Lake Havasu City, AZ; one brother, David Marceaux of Lake Charles; nine grandchildren, Dylan, Brenden, Taylor, MaKenzie, Shawnna, Tabytha, Alissa, Alex, and Emily; the mother of his children, Brenda B. Touchet; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Clarence and Loretta Marceaux.
The family requested that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, February 23, 2015 from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Tuesday February 24, from 9 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
