The Lafayette School Board has gotten a lot of attention lately, and it is mostly amusing press from the media.

Members of the Abbeville Police Department and the Vermilion Parish Sheriff’s Office spent Friday afternoon searching for a weapon that was used in the shooting death of Paul Plowden last week.
