QUEEN’S TEA - In celebration of the upcomimg Mardi Gras festivities, a Chic-A-la-Pie’s queen’s tea was held at the home of Nancy Matthewsx-- to honor all the past queens of the krewe. 2015 Krewe Chic-A-la-Pie Mardi Gras Court

The 2015 Chic-A-La Pie Mardi Gras King & Queen, and their court, invite everyone to the Mardi Gras parade in downtown Kaplan on February 17. Parade rolls at 2 p.m.

Friends of Palmetto Island recently hosted the 2nd annual cracklin cooking at Palmetto Island. Kevin Lemaire, Al Lee, Carl LeBlanc, Ike Sagrera and Ricky brought their pots and shared their cooking skills and cracklins with about 250 visitors.
