The entire North Vermilion wrestling team celebrates its third place finish at the 2014 State Championship meet.
The 2014 Wrestling State Championship meet took place this past weekend and the North Vermilion Patriots had a strong showing.
Three former Vermilion Parish football athletes were honored at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette’s annual football award banquet this weekend.
North Vermilion Jack LeBlanc coaches his team during a time out in the NV, Kaplan district title game. The Patriots would go on to win that game in the last few seconds of the game, by a final score of 33-31 over Kaplan.
The North Vermilion Patriots ended their regular season with a 33-31 victory over the Kaplan Pirates.
