ABBEVILLE – Funeral services for Zachery Briggs is scheduled for Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Faith Hope Missionary Baptist Church – 406 Duroq Street. Burial will be in the Hills-Rudd Cemetery in Abbeville, LA. Rev. John Allen will officiate the service.
Zachery Briggs (54), a long time resident of Abbeville passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Abbeville General Hospital.
He leaves to mourn his passing his children, Zachery Campbell of Kaplan, LA; Justin Williams, Marion Bryant (Taylor), James Plowden, Cholon Baudoin, Zanika Bryant, and Shamir Bryant all of Abbeville, LA; one brother, Joseph Petry of Abbeville, LA; five sisters, Catherine Harrison (Eldridge) of Abbeville, LA; Pearl Petry of Baltimore, MD; Sandra Harris (Carl), Stephanie Mitchell (George) and Patrina Petry all of Abbeville, LA; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion Petry and Louise Briggs Petry; two brothers, Warren Petry and Marion Petry, Jr.; two sisters, Glenda Briggs and Kim Petry.
Visitation will take place at Faith Hope Saturday, January 24, 2015 from 8:00 A.M. until time of service.
