ABBEVILLE — A Service of Christian Burial for Gerald Jerome Minnick will be celebrated on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Theresa Catholic Church. Father Kenneth Mayne will be the celebrant. Interment will be in St. Paul Cemetery in Abbeville.
Gerald Minnick (23), a resident of Abbeville, LA passed away Saturday, February 21, 2015 as a result of being involved in an automobile accident in Iberia parish.
He leaves hurt and heartbroken, his loving parents, Leon Minnick and Jennifer Minnick of Abbeville, LA; two brothers, Kevin Marcus Minnick of San Antonio, TX; and Justin John Minnick of Abbeville, LA; a nephew, Joseph Bryant Minnick of San Antonio, TX; and his grandfather, John Minnick, Jr. of Abbeville, LA.
Gerald was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Elrine Bernard and grandfather Jules Bernard; and his paternal grandmother, Loraine Lege’.
Visitation will be at St. Theresa Catholic Church – 101 N. Leonard Street – Abbeville, LA. on Saturday, February 28, 2015 from 9:00 A.M. until time of service.
