Sue Brasseaux

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2015, at 1:30 PM in Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers in Lafayette, for Sue Brasseaux, 65, who passed away on Friday, January 16, 2015 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. The –family requests that visitation be observed on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until the time of service.
Reverend Andy Tribe, Pastor of The Bayou Church of Youngsville, will conduct the funeral services.
Sue lived most of her life in Lafayette and had moved to Abbeville to live closer to her daughters and grandchildren. She worked for Hearing Healthcare for 19 years and her coworkers became her family away from home. She loved her grandchildren and lived her life for them. She enjoyed cooking and taking short trips with her family. Sue will be dearly missed by her family, friends and all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her daughters, Bridgette Brasseaux Romero and her husband Sean and Ashly Brasseaux and her fiance Blake Hanchey; three grandchildren, Camron McIntyre, Brooklynn Romero and Dylynn Hanchey; her nephew, Brian Denais and his wife Dea; and her niece, Tammy Nero. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Janell Leger Merchant and her sister, Carolyn Shuey.
