Bertrand and Smith to Wed

Mr. and Mrs. Chad Bertrand of Gueydan are announcing the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Chelsea Faye, to Bryce Elliott Smith. The wedding ceremony will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at St. Peter Catholic Church with Father Corey Campeaux officiating.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Burnie Benoit of Gueydan and the late Mr. and Mrs. Neelis Bertrand.
The groom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Smith, Jr., of Gueydan, grandparents are Mrs. Lavonne Breaux and the late Huland Breaux and Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Smith, Sr. all of Gueydan.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Gueydan High School and University of Louisiana at Monroe Doctor of Pharmacy and employed by Walgreen Pharmacy.
The groom-elect is a graduate of Gueydan High School and SLCC Computer Electronics Technology and employed by Rader Solutions in Lafayette, Louisiana.
The couple will reside in Lafayette, Louisiana after the wedding.
