Funeral Service will be held for Francis Robinson, 83, at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Fletcher Funeral Home Chapel, 1116 Green Street, Abbeville, LA with Deacon Randy Hyde, officiating.

Interment will follow in St. Paul Cemetery, Abbeville, LA.

A gathering of family and friends will be on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at the funeral home from 8 a.m. until the time of service.

A resident of Abbeville, LA Mr. Francis passed on Thursday, December 2, 2010 at Lafayette General Medical Center.

He leaves in God’s care five sons, Loveless Robinson, Ines Robinson, Brent Robinson (Reynella), Sidney Robinson, and Keith Robinson all of Abbeville, LA; two daughters, Elvina Robinson of Abbeville, LA and Brenda Mixon (Arthur) of Jennings, LA; one uncle, Charlie Robinson of Houston, TX; seventeen (17) grandchildren, ten (10) great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He now joins in glory with his wife, Florence C. Robinson; parents, Sidney Robinson and Sarah Levine Robinson; one son, Francis Robinson Jr.; one daughter, Rose Robinson Green; brother, Amos Robinson; sister, Ruby Narcisse and two grandchildren.

Active pallbearers will be, Glendell Robinson, Timothy Green, Clarence Green, Jimmy Bell, Francis Green and Wilbert Robinson.

Honorary pallbearers will be, Andrian Montgomery, Enus Robinson, Brent Robinson, Loveless Robinson, Morris Montgomery, Sidney Robinson.
