Cole and Andrus wedding intentions

David and Marie Longman Cole of Baldwin wish to announce the engagement of their daughter Christine Marie Cole to Jarrod Paul Andrus.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Ralph and Martha Longman of Franklin, Percy and Janice Cole of Baldwin, and the late Nikki Ruskoski.  Christine is a graduate of Hanson Memorial High School in Franklin and is currently a Senior at McNeese State University majoring in dietetics.

The prospective groom is the son of John and Rebecca Bourque Andrus of Maurice.   Jarrod’s paternal grandparents are Sheldon and Delores Broussard Andrus of Maurice.   The groom’s maternal grandparents are Peterman Bourque and the late Nita Boutte Bourque of Abbeville.

Jarrod is a graduate of both Vermilion Catholic High School and McNeese State University.  Jarrod is currently employed with Fire & Safety Specialists.

The wedding ceremony will take place at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 17 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Rayne.  The bride’s great-uncle, Fr. Bill Ruskoski will officiate the Nuptial Mass.  A reception will follow at Fezzo’s III in Scott.
