Gueydan Head Start Graduation

GROOVIN’ OUT OF HEAD START: Honey Bears Head Start graduating class of 2009- 2010 includes Kylen Schexnider, Aaliyah Lute, Blaythen Plaisance, McKinley Rodriguez and Hunter Puckett. The students said a prayer, the Pledge of Allegiance, sang numerous songs and recited poems. Each were presented with a graduating certificate. This year’s staff includes lead teacher Maxine Perrin, teacher aide/ bus monitor Gwendolyn Maxile, bus driver/ FSW aide Staci Dupree, cook Suzanne Abshire, CEO Almetra J. Franklin and assistant head start director Amanda Caffery.
