New Erath Police Chief sworn in

Anna LaPointe (right) is officially sworn in as Erath Chief of Police by Vermilion Parish Clerk of Court Diane Meaux Broussard. The Erath Board of Aldermen named LaPointe the interim chief last month, after former Chief Gerald Hebert passed away. LaPointe will serve until a special election is held in March of 2017.
