Richard and Zaubrecher exchange vows

GUEYDAN - Danielle Elaine Richard and Adam Nicholas Zaunbrecher were united in the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony on May 24, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at St. Peters Catholic Church in Gueydan. Officiating the nuptial mass was Father Corey Campeaux.
The bride is the daughter of Steven and Tammy Richard of Gueydan. Her paternal grandparents are Ivy and Hope Richard and Leola LeMaire and the late Jimmy LeMaire. Her maternal grandparents are the late Horace and Elaine Broussard, all from Gueydan. The bride is a 2009 graduate of Gueydan High School and graduate of SLCC in Dental Assisting. She is employed by Bahman Sabbaghian, M.D. in Crowley.
The groom is the son of Carl and Kay Johnson of Gueydan. His maternal grandparents are Laura Zaunbrecher and the late Frederick Zaunbrecher of Gueydan. His paternal grandparents are Gary and Glenda Johnson of Texas and Ruby Saltzman and the late Eddie Saltzman. The groom is 2009 graduate of Gueydan High School and graduate of ASU of Beebee, Arkansas. He is employed by Quality Equipment as a John Deere Technician.
The bride was escorted by her uncle, Kent Richard. Danielle wore a beautiful white sleeveless all over lace A-line princess gown with tapered soft lace straps. Incrusted pearls and crystals outlining the bodice of the dress. Incorporating the floral motifs were cut pearl appliquéd flowers on to silk netting of the entire gown. She completed her wedding attire with a finger-tip length veil accented with pearls and rhinestones. Her bouquet was adorned with hot and light pink roses accented with white feathers and pearls. She carry her grandfather’s handkerchief for something old, new jewelry, borrowed was her mother’s rosary carried in her bridal bouquet and something blue was a message from the groom written under her shoes.
Serving as the bride’s matron of honor was Paige Lafosse, friend to bride. Bridesmaids were Natalie Istre, grooms’ cousin, Sarah Broussard, friend of the bride, Lauren Richard, sister of the bride, Erin Johnson, sister of the groom, Cydney Melancon, friend of the bride, Katie David, cousin of the groom, Angelle’ Venissat, friend of the bride, and Libby Sonnier, cousin of the bride. Junior bridesmaid was Maegan Istre cousin to the groom. Bridesmaids wore a light pink floor length chiffon dress with a high neckline and keyhole on back of dress.
Stefan Lafosse, friend of the groom was Best Man, groomsmen were Dustin Oliver, grooms’ friend, Beau Fontenot, brides’ cousin, Byron Broussard, grooms’ friend, Gabe Fluitt, grooms’ friend, Aaron Gaspard, grooms’ friend, Robert Meaux, grooms’ friend, Gus Zaunbrecher, grooms’ cousin, Kye Gaspard, grooms’ brother and junior groomsman was Gabe Broussard cousin to the bride. Their attire was light grey tuxedos with Ivory shirts and pink ties. Their boutonniere was a light pink rose accented with white feathers.
Serving as flower girls were Kylie Mouton, godchild to the bride and groom, and Aivry Lege, godchild to the groom. They each carried white and light pink rose bouquets. Kohen Mouton was the ring bearer, the brides’ godchild. His attire was a light grey tuxedo with an Ivory shirt and he carried an Ivory lace pillow for the rings.
Ushers for the wedding were Bryson Bertrand, grooms’ cousin, Blaine Broussard, brides’ uncle, and Gerard Broussard, brides’ uncle. Scriptures were read by Lauren Lege, grooms’ cousin and music provided by Tiffany Thibodeaux.
Following the ceremony the reception was held at Gueydan Civic Center. After their honeymoon to Isla Mujurez, Cancun the couple will reside in Gueydan.
