The Abbeville Rotary Club presented the Rotary District 6200 Governor Mike Hayes with $300 in his honor for Polio Plus, a program through Rotary International dedicated to eradicating polio. Rotary International, along with its partners, has reduced polio cases by 99 percent worldwide since their first project to vaccinate children in the Philippines in 1979.
