VC students perform well at district literary rally

On Saturday, February 22nd thirty Vermilion Catholic students participated in the District literary rally held at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. The students did a wonderful job representing Vermilion Catholic and sixteen students will go to the state rally at LSU on April 5th.

The students attending the District Rally were:

Congratulations to JJ Cote for placing 1st overall in the District Rally for Financial Math. He was the first place winner over all divisions.
Congratulations to Lucas Hebert who placed second in Extemporaneous Speaking.

Students who qualified for the State Literary Rally to be held on April 5th:

The school had eight students that placed 1st at District - Camille Robichaux, Emily Husband, Elizabeth Daspit, Danielle Laperouse, JJ Cote, Ellen Langlinais, Kaylee White and Bret Lee.

They had four students that placed 2nd at District – Lauren Lattier, Bella Doucet, Lauren Grace Lege, and Audrey Blair

They had four students place third at District – Kirsten Broussard, Tyler Lege, Paul Veazey and Drew Baudoin.
