Garden Club hosts Christmas Social

Members of the Abbeville Garden Club gathered in December for the annual Christmas Social, celebrating the holiday season at the lovely home of Brenda Picard Cross overlooking picturesque Lake Peigneur.  Members enjoyed a delightful evening of entertainment, a wonderful meal, and participated in a lively gift exchange in a delightful atmosphere.  

Hostesses were Christmas Social Committee members Pat Webb (chairman), Brenda P. Cross, Janice Sikes, Mary Trahan and Susie Ledet.  Roxanna Champagne, Louisiana Garden Club Federation District III Chairman, was an honored guest.

The first Abbeville Garden Club meeting of 2014 is scheduled for Jan. 17 at the home of Susan Becker.   Anyone interested in joining AGC can contact Patsy Hebert at 337-937-6775 for more information.
