Abbeville, LA — A Home Going Celebration will be held for Jacolby Jermaine Walker, 23 at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday November 17, 2012 at Saint Mary Congregational Church, Abbeville, LA with Rev. Kevin M. A. Williams officiating. Interment will follow in St. Paul Cemetery, Abbeville, LA

A gathering of family and friends will be Saturday at Fletcher Funeral Home 1116 Green St. Abbeville, LA, 7 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. and from 9 a.m. until time of service at St. Mary Congregational Church.

He passed Sunday, November 11, 2012 at Abbeville General Hospital.

He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Tangy Walker Zeno and Alton Brailey of Abbeville, La., step-father, Daramius Zeno, step-mother, Vorchell Brailey one son Jacolby Walker, Jr. and his mother Reecka Broussard, his loving companion Crystal “Cree” Guidry seven sisters, Destany Joseph, Tyresha Joseph, Abreana Landry, Rochelle Allen, Diandra Allen, Shakyla Brailey and Shanyla Brailey, seven brothers, Fabion Walker, Mervin Alexis, Stephen Brailey, Alton Brailey, III, Abram Landry, Sameer Brailey and James Joseph, maternal grandmother Lillie Plowden, paternal grandmother, Albertine Brailey, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Nathaniel and Alzonia Brailey and Mabel Brailey and Lawrence Brailey and Alton Brailey, Sr., and maternal grandparents, Dalton Plowden, Sr., Wilmer Plowden, Sr., and Cinderella Charles.

Active pallbearers will be Jordan Martin, Gary Guidry, Michael Guidry, Deon Green, Jordan Matthews, and Mortimer Cotrell.

Honorary pallbearers will be Fabion Walker, Mervin Alexis, Daramius Zeno, Milton Plowden, Stephen Brailey, Alton Brailey, III, Matthew Plowden, and Minus Morris.
