Slow start cripples Lady Wildcats

The Lady Wildcats had finally gotten their record back to .500 heading into the Acadiana High Tournament.

Now, after a 56-46 loss to the host, Acadiana, the Lady Wildcats find themselves with a 3-4 record.

The first and third quarters were the rough spots of the game for the Lady Wildcats.

In both quarters combined, they only managed to put 14 points total, opposed to the 27 put up by Acadiana.

The second and fourth quarters is where the Lady Wildcats did their work. They were able to outscore Acadiana 32-29.

The deficit left between the first and third quarters was just too great to overcome.

Leading the way in scoring for the Lady Wildcats was Bianca Levy, who scored a team and game high 19 points. Levy scored all of the Lady Wildcats points in the third quarter.

Timia Biggs was right behind Levy in scoring for the Lady Wildcats with 10, all of which came in the second quarter.
