Harvest Time celebrates senior night

The Harvest Time Mighty Lions took to the field for their annual senior night, recognizing the team’s only seniors, Cris Gathers and Seth Darby.

While the team fell 46-20, there was a lot to be proud of. Gathers was an offensive leader with 25 carries for 128 yards and two touchdowns. 

Brandon Leblanc came in second in rushing with 17 carries for 86 yards and one touchdown.

Gathers was also a major force on defense. He picked up eleven tackles on defense. Two of them were for a loss. Darby, the other senior, picked up eight tackles, one of which was for a loss. 

Leblanc rounded out the defensive leaders with seven tackles.

“We are so proud of these two young men.,” coach Steven Delino said of his seniors. “They are true leaders, and have outstanding character. I’m excited to see what the future has in store for them.”
