Abbeville Police arrest Diggs' mother

The Abbeville Police Department and the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force are seeking information from the public as to Jamaal Diggs’ location.

Diggs is wanted for 2nd Degree Murder; those charges stemming from a homicide that occurred in Abbeville on December 10, 2009 where Diggs allegedly shot D’Jacqney Mitchell multiple times.

Diggs’ mother, Mary Diggs was arrested Thursday by the Abbeville Police Department and US Marshals for Accessory After the Fact.

Investigators believe that Diggs is likely in the Abbeville area and a cash award has been established for information leading to Diggs’ arrest.
