Mencacci seeking position as Erath Alderman

Taylor Mencacci is seeking a position on the Erath Town Council. He is a life-long member of the Erath community and wants to sustain this great community for our children to enjoy for generations to come. Taylor represents well the proud Acadian tradition of hard work and family values that the Town of Erath was built upon. He says, “Erath has always been a place where traditional family beliefs are practiced every day and you can always count on your neighbor to help in whatever way he can”.
He is the proud husband of Amy, daughter of John and Krista Sonnier Landry of Erath, and father of seven-year-old Elise, four-year-old Landon, and one-year-old Henry. Taylor is the son of Mark and Leslie Dronet Mencacci of Erath. “My kids have taught me that our faith and our commitment to one another are the cornerstones that get us through any of life’s many challenges, “says Mencacci.
Taylor is a 2000 graduate of Erath High school. He has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Louisiana Tech University and an Associate of Science in Nursing from Louisiana State University at Eunice. Taylor served in the Loiusiana National Guard from 1999-2007 and is a war veteran. Taylor honorably served as a combat medic from 2004-2005 in Operation Iraqi Freedom. He is currently a registered nurse and serves as the Administrator of the New Iberia Surgery Center, LLC where he is responsible for direct operations of this facility. His task is to collaborate with surgeons and employees to optimize operational cost while keeping patient outcomes as the upmost priority.
Taylor has continued a family tradition of service in Erath. He is a member of the Erath 4th of July Association and treasurer of the Erath Backer’s Club. He is a parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Erath.
Taylor hopes to bring his education and experience, as a small business owner and a healthcare administer, his passion for our community, and his commitment to family to this position. His focus is to utilize our tax dollars and resources wisely to sustain and grow the Town of Erath for generations to come. He hopes to maintain a community that can sustain its residence to carry on these values we all hold so dear.
To sustain the success and traditional values of the residents of Town of Erath, Taylor and his family humbly ask for your support in electing him to the Erath Town Council on November 8, 2016.
