Meaux Elementary celebrates a wedding
Meaux Elementary School hosted a letter ceremony on April 4, 2014 joining the letters Q and U.
Attending the ceremony were special quests Queen Patrice Veazey (school librarian),Quarterback Jerome Puyau (district's superintendent) and prekindergarten students from Ms. Susan Dardar and Ms. Laura LeJeune's classes.
Conducting the ceremony was school's principal Susie Stephen. Participating in the ceremony were the kindergarten students from Ms. Amy Barnett, Ms. Krystal Boudreaux, and Ms. Angie Camel's classes. The kindergartners vowed to always join letters when creating words making the /qu/ sound.
After the ceremony a quick reception followed with cake and punch.
