Miss Teirrany Peltier becomes Mrs. Kevin Gary, Jr.

Miss Teirrany Peltier and Mr. Kevin J. Gary, Jr., both of Delcambre, became man and wife during a 6 p.m. ceremony held on Saturday, September 24, 2016, at L’Eglise in Abbeville.
Pastor Erich Toups officiated the nuptials.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roland Joseph Peltier, Jr., of Delcambre. Her grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Alwin Floris of Erath and Theresa Peltier and the late Roland Peltie, Sr., of Erath.
Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Donald Powers of Erath and Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Gary, Sr. His grandparents are Charles and Brenda Dugas of Delcambre, Lucy Romero of New Iberia and Gerald Gary, Sr., of Coteau, La.
Music for the celebration was provided by Bette Vidrine, harpist.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore an ivory laced dress made by Justin Alexander. A halo with sheer lace and veil completed her ensemble.
Tyler Hernandez served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids included, Amber Bruno, Kaitlin Hebert, Meredith Stutes and Brooke Floris. They wore Marine blue colored lace dresses. They carried round bouquets of silver stone lavender roses. Sierra Dugas, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dugas, Jr., served as the flower girl. She wore an ivory laced dress with fifty shades of gray roses pomander.
Best man was David Vincent. Groomsmen included Jacob Richard, Jodi Richard, Trevor Peltier and Beau Dugas. Karson Gary, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Gary, Sr., served as ring bearer.
The reception was held immediately following the wedding at L’ Eglise.
Upon their return from a wedding trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple will reside in Youngsville.
A rehearsal dinner hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Donald Powers, was held on Friday, September 23, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Roland Peltier, Jr.
The bride is a 2009 Delcambre High School graduate and earned and LPN degree at South Louisiana Community College in Abbeville. She is currently employed at Abbeville General Hospital.
The groom is a 2012 graduate of Erath High School and a 2013 graduate of the Acadiana Law Enforcement Academy. He is employed with the Broussard Police Department.
