Thomas Paul Adams

A memorial service was held for Thomas Paul Adams, 59, on July 24, 2009 at Matthews & Son Funeral Home in Gueydan. He died July 18, 2009 as a result of injuries sustained by a motor vehicle.

Mr. Adams’s was born in Abbeville, to the late Relay J. Adams, Sr. and Joycelyn Saltzman Adams on April 4, 1950. He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force.

He was also an operator for an offshore petroleum company. Mr. Adams loved to cook and enjoyed listening to French music.

Leaving behind to cherish his memory is his beloved mother, Joycelyn Saltzman Adams of Wright,; one son, Paul Adams of Montergery, Texas, one brother, Relay “Joey” Adams, Jr. of Birmington, Alabama; his two sisters, Harriet Rilter and her husband James, Jr. of LeBlanc and Helen LeBlanc of Jeanerette; his three beautiful grandsons, Keith, Andrew, and David Adams all of Montergery, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Relay Adams Sr. and his sister, Peggy Terhall.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Matthews & Son Funeral Home of Gueydan.
