Suire and Gardiner tie the knot

Tracie Lynn Suire and Christopher James Gardiner were united in marriage during a 6:30 p.m. ceremony on April 21, 2012, at The Caldwell House in Abbeville, Louisiana. Justice of the Peace Jessie Fabre presided over the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Brenda Suire and Denise Broussard, of Abbeville, Louisiana. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Mary Lynn Suire and the late Mr. Clarence Suire, of Abbeville, Louisiana.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Gardiner, of Kaplan, Louisiana. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Zaunbrecher, of Jones, Louisiana, and the late Mr. J.W. and Mrs. Helen Gardiner, of Crowley, Louisiana.

Escorted by her brother, Ryan Bourge, the bride wore an elegant strapless A-line satin gown, which featured Swarovski crystals and pearl trim with a sweep train. The waistline was defined by a watermelon pleated sash with crystal embellishments. To complete her look, she wore an elbow-length veil, which was also trimmed with Swarovski crystals and carried a bouquet of white hydrangeas, pink roses, and yellow orchids accented with pearl and diamond studs.

Lauren Theriot, friend of the bride, served as maid of honor. Robyn Pugh, cousin of the bride, Morgan Gourley, cousin of the groom, Katie Trahan, friend of the bride, Clarissa Romero, friend of the bride, and Anna Barras, friend of the bride, served as bridesmaids during the ceremony.

The bridal attendants wore figure flattering watermelon-colored tea-length gowns and carried a bouquet of yellow orchids.

Emma Gardiner, daughter of the groom, served as flower girl, and William Gardiner, son of the bride and groom, served as ring bearer.

Justin Gourley, cousin of the groom, served as best man. Cedric Richard, friend of the groom, Scott Mire, friend of the groom, Scott Bertrand, friend of the groom, Jared Breaux, friend of the groom, and Brandon Bertrand, cousin of the groom, served as groomsmen.

Music for the ceremony was provided by Kyle Monceaux.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at The Caldwell House.

The couple plans to reside in Abbeville, Louisiana.
