VC girls take care of Centerville

Centerville, a new team to District 7A, was welcomed into the district by the Vermilion Catholic Lady Eagles on Friday.
The Lady Eagles opened district play in impressive fashion, beating Centerville 46-27 on Friday.

The Lady Eagles played everyone in the victory.
Kelly White led with 14 points while Bella Doucet had 13 for VC.
The game was pretty much over in the first period. VC outscored them 18-3 after one period and led 28-7 at halftime.
Kylie White came off the bench and scored eight points. Olivia Chiasson had four, while Meredith Stutes made three points. Catherine Gallet and Leah Camel both scored two each for VC.
VC (8-3) is back in action Monday.
There will be four games (including JV games) against Sacred Heart of Ville Platte.
The varsity girls will start at around 6:30 p.m. and the boys game will follow.
