E.D. White sweeps North Vermilion

The final three district games for North Vermilion are tough.
On Friday, the Patriots dropped a 63-52 game to E.D. White Cardinals.
NV falls to 16-9 and 6-4 in district. E.D. White improves to 19-4 overall and 8-2 in district.
Next up for the Patriots is Patterson (18-4) at home on Tuesday and Berwick (16-13) on the road.
In Friday’s game, it was tied 18-18 after the first period. The Cardinals went ahead 33-31 at halftime.
The Cardinals would outscore NV 30-21 in the second half.
In the loss to E.D. White, Blake Turner’s 17 points led North Vermilion Patriots . He made three three-pointers and was four-for-four at the free throw line.
Malik Criner added 11 points. Grant Dardar and Dade Dieterich both had six points for NV. Other NV scorers were Tyler Galley (5), Dreylan Adams (4), and Triston Romero (3).

Michae Jones scored 22 points for E.D. White and the Lady Cardinals cruised to a 56-27 victory over North Vermilion on Friday.
E.D. White had to play Erath on Saturday in a special game to see who will get an extra power point for winning the district.
E.D. White jumped on North Vermilion in the first period. The Lady Cardinals went ahead 19-7 at the end of the first period.
O’ Rrieona Bolden and Kaylee Lopez both finished with six points. Ariel Plowden had four points and Meagan Kelly made 3.
