Velma F. Stelly

KAPLAN—Funeral services were held Monday, February 23, 2015 at a 2:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anne Catholic Church honoring the life of Velma F. Stelly, 86, who died Saturday, February 21, 2015 at her residence.
She was laid to rest at Immaculate Conception Cemetery with Reverend Keith Landry officiating the services.
She is survived by one son, Curt Stelly and his wife, Tammy of Forked Island; two daughters, Marlene Davidson and Cassandra Graves both of Forked Island; two sisters, Ursla Hebert of Forked Island, Virgie Stelly of Abbeville; eight grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Stelly; one son, Rickey Stelly; and one son-in-law, Malcolm Larry Davidson.
The family requested that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, February 23, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. when the procession departed for the church; a rosary will be prayed at 10:30 a.m.
