Terry Lee Rudisill

ABBEVILLE —Funeral services will be held Monday, September 28, 2015 at an 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Lourdes Church honoring the life of Terry Lee Rudisill, 42, who died Friday, September 18, 2015.
He will be laid to rest at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery with Reverend Bill Melancon officiating the services. Pallbearers will be members with the Abbeville Fire Department and LeBlanc Volunteer Fire Department.
Terry was a native of York, Pennsylvannia and a resident of Erath, Louisiana. A 1991 graduate of West York Area Senior High. He was a professional firefighter with the Abbeville Fire Department, volunteer firefighter with the LeBlanc Fire Department and an agent for Aflac Insurance. He was a former volunteer firefighter with the Shiloh Fire Company in West Manchester Township, PA, member of the Southern York County Forest Fire Crew, and served as a Wildland Firefighter for the Federal Government from 1997-2004.
He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Torie LeBlanc Rudisill; son, Jace Lee Rudisill; daughter, Haylie Ann Rudisill; mother, Susan A. Rudisill of York, PA; father, Harry A. Rudisill of York, PA; paternal grandmother, Betty J. Rudisill of York, PA; uncle, Scott A. Conner of Myrtle Beach, SC; nephew, Christopher Conner of Ocean City, MO; mother-in-law, Evette Bares LeBlanc; father-in-law, Russell J. LeBlanc; sister-in-law, Candace LeBlanc Trahan and her husband, Jeremy; godchildren, Chance Trahan and Tyler Trahan; brother-in-law, Nicholas LeBlanc; niece, Brianna LeBlanc; brother-in-law, Trent LeBlanc; aunts, Betty Graham of Honey Brook, PA and Jenny Rudisill of Alexander, AR; great uncle, Jack B. Conner of York, PA; and all his firefighter brothers.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Nelson L. Conner of York, PA; maternal grandmother, Helen A. Conner of York, PA; and niece, Stevie LeBlanc.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Sunday, September 27, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Monday, September 28, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asked that donations be sent to Torie Rudisill, 2610 Germain Rd., Abbeville, LA 70510 to help defray burial expenses.
