Teena L. Leblanc

DELCAMBRE – A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Teena L. LeBlanc, age 61, at 3:00 pm Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Fr. Nathan Comeaux officiating. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Lake Mausoleum.
Visitation will be held at Evangeline Funeral Home from 9:00 am until time of service on Tuesday with a Rosary at 1:00 pm.
A native Iberia Parish and resident of Delcambre, Teena passed away at 1:43 p.m. on, Sunday, December 11, 2016 at The Carpenter House of Lafayette.
Teena lived a life of love, a life devoted to God and family. She carried her cross day in and day out because of the will of God and her determination. She never complained and could often be seen riding her scooter around Delcambre.
She was a loving mother, daughter, sister and grandmother. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church and Woodmen of the World.
Teena will be missed dearly and leaves behind a legacy for her children to carry on.
She is survived by her two daughters, Amanda Dorn Thibodeaux and companion Holli Mire of Delcambre; Joni Elizabeth Fontenot and husband Luke of Baton Rouge; one son, Joshua D. Dorn of Delcambre; three grandchildren, Gavin Thibodeaux, Jackson Fontenot and Owen Fontenot; her mother, Geraldine L. LeBlanc; three sisters, Linda L. Griffin of New Iberia; Anita Louise LeBlanc and Amy Jo L. Corner both of Delcambre and one brother, Kenwood R. LeBlanc, Jr. and wife Keisha of Delcambre and her nieces and nephews, Andy Griffin, Matt Griffin, Tyler Clemons, Kristopher LeBlanc and Kamille LeBlanc.
She was preceded in death by her father, Kenwood R.“K.R.” LeBlanc, Sr. and nephew, Jon Cade Clemons.
Pallbearers will be Joshua D. Dorn, Kenwood R. LeBlanc, Jr., Kristopher LeBlanc, Tyler Clemons, Micah Thibodeaux, Gavin Thibodeaux and Peter Jabbier.
