Abbeville — Private funeral services were held honoring the life of Shelley Marie Weygand, 51, who died Friday, November 13, 2015 at Acadia General Hospital.
She was laid to rest at Graceland Cemetery with Deacon Bryon Soley officiating the services.
Shelley was a very sweet person who loved everyone she met. She loved to dance, play on her computer and enjoyed doing word puzzles.
Pallbearers were Kenneth Paul Weygand, Jr., Ethan Weygand, Brodie Boudreaux, Nicholas Mouton, Sherman Lee Mouton and Randy Mouton.
She is survived by her niece and nephew she called her own, Charity Boudreaux and Kenneth Paul Weygand, Jr.; and three sisters, Kathy Weygand Mouton and her husband James, Judith Schuler, and Sandra Jones and her husband Tom.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Hazel Ila Martin; brother, Kenneth Paul Weygand, Sr.; and sisters, Jeanie Bills and Helen Trahan.
