Rixby Guidry

KAPLAN—Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 13, 2015 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Rixby Guidry, 55, who died Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Lafayette General Medical Center. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery.
He is survived by his mother, Lucy Mae Guidry of Kaplan; one brother, Leroy "Joe" Guidry and his wife, Leah of Kaplan; three nephews, John O. Guidry of Kaplan, Jerry Guidry of Kaplan, and Joe Dale Guidry of Kaplan; one niece, Andrea and her husband, Miguel Hernandez of Lafayette; and seven great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Oneil Guidry; and one brother, Raywood Guidry.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Thursday, March 12, 2015 from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Friday, March 13, 2015 from 10 a.m. until services.
