Rhona Margaret Primeaux

A Mass Service will be celebrated Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 11:00 am at Fountain Memorial Funeral Home in Lafayette for Rhona Margaret Primeaux, 78, who passed away Friday, July 31, 2015 at Amelia Manor Nursing Home in Lafayette.
Visitation will be observed on Saturday, August 8, 2015 from 9:00 am until the time of services, at Fountain Memorial Funeral Home in Lafayette.
A rosary will be recited by the Knights of Columbus, Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 10:00 am at Fountain Memorial Funeral Home in Lafayette.
Interment will follow in Fountain Memorial Cemetery in Lafayette.
Reverend Daniel Edwards, Pastor of St. Jules Catholic Church in Lafayette, will officiate.
Rhona was born February 12, 1937 in Henry, LA and was a long-time resident of Acadiana. Rhona was a parishioner of St. Jules Catholic Church in Lafayette. She loved reading and watching television. Most of all, Rhona loved spending time with her family and friends.
Rhona is survived by her husband, Wilton J. Primeaux of Lafayette; three sons, Mark E. Primeaux and his wife, Penny of Spring, TX, Chris A. Primeaux and his wife, Stacy of Stillwater, OK and Dale A. Primeaux and his wife, Julie of Lafayette; two daughters, Lisa Primeaux of Sacramento, CA and Mitzi P. Lampo and her husband, Jeremy of Metairie, LA; two sisters, Myrtle Blanchet of Lafayette and Eldrin Penalas of San Diego, CA; two brothers, Harland Broussard and his wife, Frances of Abbeville and Ernal J. Broussard and his wife, Rita of Abbeville; six grandchildren, Colby, Dale-Ross, Chase and Caroline Primeaux of Spring, TX, Jordan Primeaux of Stillwater, OK and Kate Lampo of Metairie, LA; three step-grandchildren, Travis and Emily North and Megan Moss and numerous dear nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Mafie Dugas Broussard.
Pallbearers will be her sons and grandsons.
Honorary Bearers are her brothers.
