Perfay J. Broussard

Erath - A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Perfay J. Broussard, 96, was held on Monday, December 9, 2013 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Fr. Bill Melancon officiating.
A native and lifelong resident of Erath Mr. Broussard died at 9:36PM on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center. He was a lifelong farmer, a member of A.S.C.A, Louisiana Farm Bureau, and Woodmen of the World; an honorary member of the Erath Fire Department; and a former Vermilion Parish Police Juror.
His is survived by two daughters, Ann Clostio and her husband Gerald of Abbeville and Nellie Broussard; a daughter in law, Jane Richard Broussard of Erath; ten grandchildren, Mark Broussard, Jason Broussard, Seth Broussard, Eric Clostio, Scott Clostio, Trent Clostio, Cody Clostio, James Clostio, Christine Clostio Saxby, and Amy Broussard LeBlanc; nineteen great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 74 years, Lillian Hebert Broussard; his parents, Clairville and Anatile Metrejean Broussard; a son, Howard Broussard; two sisters, Ella Mae B. Perrin and Effie B. Bares; four half brothers, Harvey Broussard, Cassiday Broussard, Gaston Roberts, and Joseph Roberts; and nine half sisters, Gertrude Broussard, Elvin Broussard, Elvay Broussard, Elvie Broussard, Noelie Roberts, Adia Roberts, Ada Roberts, Loumina Roberts, and Louvina Roberts.
Serving as pallbearers were Jason Broussard, Seth Broussard, Eric Clostio, Trent Clostio, Cody Clostio, Scott Clostio, James Clostio, and Mark Broussard.
