Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 in Delhomme Funeral Home in Maurice for Mary Ann “Nanny” Gallet, 79, who passed away on September 18, 2015.
Reverend Stanley Jawa , Pastor of St. Joseph Church in Maurice, LA will conduct the funeral services.
Burial will take place in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery in Leroy.
Mary Ann a resident of Maurice, was the daughter of the late Marcel Gallet and the former Julia Cloteaux.
She is survived by her sister, Jean G. Broussard; brothers, Charles and James Gallet; nieces, Linda Mathers, Mary Beth Broussard, Kay Cicardo, Anje Broussard, Stacy Gardiner and Julia Gallet.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother in law, Gus Broussard, Jr.; niece, Kelsey Gallet and great niece, Lilli Lalande.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home in Maurice on Monday, September 21, 2015 from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM. A rosary will be prayed on Monday at 6:00 PM in the funeral home. Visiting hours will continue on Tuesday from 8:00AM until the time of service.
Mary Ann retired from the Vermilion Parish School Board after 30 years of service.
Pallbearers will be Phil Gallet, Eddie Gallet, Dustin Gallet, Brandon Mathers, Ryan Mathers and Brent Broussard.
Honorary pallbearers will be her nephews, David James Broussard, Cullen Gallet, Dillon Gallet, Jacob Gallet, Sawyer Smith, Vincent Cicardo, Brennen Mathers and Marcus Gallet.
