Lucy Mae Harrington Guidry

August 30, 1927 ~ April 3, 2015

KAPLAN—Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Lucy Mae Guidry, 87, who died Friday, April 3, 2015 at Abbeville General Hospital.  She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with  Reverend Cedric Sonnier officiating the services.
She is survived by one son Leroy “Joe” Guidry and his wife, Leah of Kaplan; one brother, Leo Harrington and his wife, Vernise of Kaplan; four grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oneil Guidry; two sons, Rixby and Raywood Guidry; parents, Oscar Harrington and the former Oscenia Schexneider; two brothers; and two sisters.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, April 6, 2015 from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Tuesday, April 07, from 9 a.m. until services.
