Lois Ann Stakes Babineaux

ABBEVILLE—Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, January 23, 2014 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Lois Ann Stakes Babineaux, 72, who died Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at Maison du Monde Living Center.
She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Deacon William "Billy" Vincent officiating the services.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Lucias Nolan Babineaux; two nieces, Peggy Toups Palombo and her husband Keith, and Michele Toups and her husband Donald Bricker; one great nephew, Brodie Meaux and his wife Jennifer; and one great great nephew, Aden Meaux.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Stakes, Sr. and the former Agnes Hebert; brother, Richard Stakes, Jr.; and sister, Joyce Stakes Toups.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Thursday, January 23, 2014 from 8:30 a.m. until time of services.
