Lakeisha Rachelle Brown Shelvin, 33, of Abbeville, La departed this life on December 6, 2013 at Abbeville General Hospital.
Mrs. Shelvin was born May 29, 1980, in Lafayette, La to JoAnn Brown and the late Robert Chaisson.
Funeral services were held at Evangeline Memorial Gardens in Carencro, La. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 8 a.m. Saturday until service time. A rosary of prayer was at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with the services starting at 3 p.m.
