ABBEVILLE – Funeral services for La’keisha Renee Hazel is scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Friday, June 26, 2015. In Jesus Name Church -3126 Pine Street will be the place of the funeral. Rev. Donald Campbell will officiate the service and Ashton Campbell will deliver the eulogy. Interment will be in the St Paul Cemetery in Abbeville, LA.
La’Keisha “Kiki”Hazel (19) unexpectedly went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 18, 2015.
Many friends and family continues to mourn her passing and will certainly miss her dearly. This includes her parents, Christiana and Dwayne Lee, Sr., Dedrick and Lana Etienne, Sr., and Clements and Katherine Dorsey III. She’ll be missed by her brothers, Dwayne Jr., Deshawn, Dewaune, and Devon Lee; Mathew Simon, Tray Bourque, Randon Hebert, Dedrick Jr., and Izaiah Etienne, Clements, Dontrell, and Kendall Dorsey. She’ll also be missed by her sisters, Brittany Viator, Shawnta and Keionna Dorsey and Ja’Learreia Soelv. By her grandparents, Norman and Rhonda Broussard, Brenda and Gary Chauvin, Hilda Narcisse, and Janie Beale. Her uncle and paran, Steven Hazel, uncles Clarence Jr., John, and Wayne Lee. Aunts Crystal Broussard, Allana and Beckey Chauvin, Glenda Lee, Shelly and Nicole Etienne, and Latasha Dorsey. By her nephew Jayden. By her Godmothers, Linda Gloud, Chantelle Menard, and Jennifer Piazza. By her boyfriend Kylance Dural and her many cousins, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her aunt, Agnes Richard, grandpa Clarence Lee, Sr., grandma Jackie Johnson and cousin Zoe Grigsby.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2015 from 4:00—9:00 p.m. in the chapel of Kinchen Funeral Home – 218 N. St. Valerie Street – Abbeville, LA (337) 898-9595 and will resume at the church Friday, June 26, 2015 from 8:00 A.M. until time of service.
