Juliette Marie Rankin Burleson

ABBEVILLE – Funeral service for Juliette Marie Rankin Burleson is scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Victory Lighthouse – 1606 N. Lafitte Road - with burial in St. Paul Cemetery. Pastor Debra Randall is the pastor and Rev. Peter Williams will officiate the service.
Juliette Rankin Burleson (66), who spent half of her life in Houston, Texas moved back to Abbeville and after an illness, passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at her residence.
Left to cherish her memories are her children, Latonya Guidry (Glen) Kenneth Burleson (Sheila), Quentain Burleson, and Jessica Burleson all of Abbeville, LA; her eight Grandchildren, Edward and Terrance Burleson, Lacey, Carleen, and Acey Grogan, and Adam, Joshua, and Jacob Guidry. She also leaves behind memories with her four Great-grandchildren, Trelin, Terriana, Jacorey, and Ja’kyla; her siblings, Doris Jean Hewitt and Erma Burdette (Ray) both of Long Beach, CA; Rosemary Hewitt and Linda Paley both of Houston, TX.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Burleson, her parents, Henry Rankin and Mabell Newman, her siblings, Annie, Otis, and Kenneth Human, Pennye and Carolyn Rankin, and Virgie Lockins, and a great number of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will take place at the church (Victory Lighthouse) Saturday, November 12, 2016 from 10:00 A. M. until time of service.
