DELCAMBRE – A Mass of Christian Burial was conducted for Mrs. Juliette “July” LeBlanc Broussard, age 98, at 3:00 pm Monday, December 9, 2013 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Fr. Nathan Comeaux officiating. Interment followed at the church mausoleum.
A native and resident of Iberia Parish, Mrs. Broussard passed away at 2:45 pm on Friday, December 6, 2013 at Abbeville General Hospital.
Mrs. Broussard was a homemaker who enjoyed spending her time at home being a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved playing Pokeno and attending her coffee card parties. She also enjoyed traveling with her bus tour travel club. Mrs. Broussard just attended her 80 year class reunion. She will be missed dearly by everyone who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her sons, Errol Broussard and wife Nell of Delcambre, Glenn “Hank” Broussard of Delcabmre; grandchildren, Brett Broussard, Mike Broussard, Billy Jo Theriot, Tressa Renee Vincent; great-grandchildren, Sirae Broussard, Brayton Broussard, Taylor Carlin, Ridge LaSalle, Rylie Vincent, Trey Theriot, Austin Broussard, Brittany Walker; great-great-grandchildren, Axyl Walker and Nash Walker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Burney Broussard; parents, Joseph T. LeBlanc and Herminie Trahan LeBlanc; great-great-grandchild, Addison Walker; daughters-in-law, Nettie P. Broussard, Cheryl T. Broussard and siblings, Sidney LeBlanc, Syvle LeBlanc, Cyna LeBlanc, Millianne Kern, Therese Mintz, Elie LeBlanc, Sulie LeBlanc, Azmie LeBlanc and Amie “Mico” LeBlanc.
Pallbearers were Mike Broussard, Trey Theriot, Austin Broussard, Brett Broussad, Taylor Carlin and Ridge LaSalle. Dan Theriot will serve as honorary pallbearer.
