ABBEVILLE — Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 23, 2015 at an 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of James Brent d’Augereau, 61, who died Sunday, May 17, 2015.
He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Keith Landry officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Jason Daigle, Chris Suire, Tommy Faulk, Ryan Poche, David Broussard and Trey Dugal. Honorary pallbearers will be Bryan Bourque, Gary Smith, and co-workers from J.B. Mouton Builders. Lectors will be Claire Frederick and Caroline Poche. Giftbears will be Dionne Sehon, Jodie Daigle and Britlyn Trahan.
He is survived by his wife, Silissa Rodriguez d’Augereau; two sons, Shawn d’Augereau and his wife Tara of Abbeville, and Jonathan d’Augereau and his wife Lauren of Meaux; daughter, Trina Frederick and her husband Ryan of Meaux; eight grandchildren, Claire Frederick, Emily Frederick, Saxon d’Augereau, Sawyer d’Augereau, Tatum d’Augereau, Adler d’Augereau, Lylia d’Augereau and Pierce d’Augereau; brother, Gerald d’Augereau; and sister, Beverly Broussard and her husband Thomas of Abbeville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude d’Augereau and the former Ida Hebert; mother-in-law, Ruby Boher; father-in-law, Raymond Rodriguez; nephew, Tommy Broussard; sister-in-law, Betty d’Augereau; and brother-in-law, Roddy Wayne Rodriguez.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Friday, May 22, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Saturday, May 23, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
