Irene Peltier Schexnayder

ABBEVILLE — A visitation will take place at Vincent Funeral Home, on Thursday, January 19, 2017 from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM honoring the life of Irene Peltier Schexnayder, 84 years, who died Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at her residence.
She is survived by her husband, Clifford J. Schexnayder; daughter, Sheila Schexnayder Suire and her husband Robert; son, Ricky Schexnayder and his wife Rachel; six grandchildren, Drew Suire and his wife Jessie, Tabethia Suire, Raven David and her husband Daniel, Robin Schexnayder, Megan Ward and her husband Jason, and Lance Richard and his fiancée Courtney Bell; seven great grandchildren, Randi Suire, Camille Suire, Alley David, Graysen David, Bailey Ward, Kameron Ward and Dillan Richard; and two brothers, Lorgie Peltier and Ullyess Peltier and his wife Joyce.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Whitney Peltier and the former Cecilia Dubois; daughter, Judy Atchison; and sisters, Avia Doucet, Beatrice Peltier, Florine Rush and Genevie Mergist.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Thursday, January 19, 2017 from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM.
