Evelyn Marceaux Broussard Duhon

KAPLAN—Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Evelyn Marceaux Broussard Duhon, 82, who died Thursday, March 5, 2015 at Heart Hospital of Lafayette. She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Matthew Barzare officiating the services.
She is survived by her three sons, John G. Broussard and his wife, Barbara of Abbeville, Randall P. Broussard and his wife, Leah of Sumrall, MS, and Felton Jude Broussard of Jeanerette; two daughters, Ruth E. Broussard of Lafayette and Kathryn L. Broussard of Jacksonville, FL; four sisters, Mary Lee Hebert of Lafayette, Nellie Pierce of Abbeville, Martha Lee of Kaplan, and Roberta Duvernay of Tick Faw; one brother, Gabriel Marceaux of Kaplan; fifteen grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Odilion Marceaux and the former Lucy Broussard; one sister, Maudry Fontenot Rost; one brother, Odilion Marceaux, Jr.; her first husband, Felton Adam Broussard; and her second husband, Dudley J. Duhon .
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Saturday, March 7, 2015 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Sunday, March 8, 2015 from 8 a.m. until services.
