ABBEVILLE — Funeral service for Dalton Allen, Jr. (71) is scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 07, 2013 at Kinchen Funeral Home-C.M. Butler Chapel with Rev. Wayne Landry officiating. He will await the resurrection in St. Paul Cemetery.
Dalton Allen, Jr., a life-long resident of Abbeville passed away on Sunday, December 01, 2013 at Abbeville General Hospital.
He leaves to mourn but in God’s care, his wife, Adise Allen of New Iberia, LA; two daughters, Dorcas Walker of Antioch, CA; and Marjorie Allen of Houston, TX; one step-son, Matthew Adam of New Iberia, LA; one brother, Whitney Allen of Abbeville, LA; three sisters, Nolia Huntsberry of Abbeville, LA; Agnes Cotton of Supply, NC; and Vickey A. Allen of Abbeville, LA; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by both parents, Dalton Allen, Sr. and Ester Batiste Allen.
Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Kinchen Funeral Home - 218 N. St. Valerie Street - Abbeville, LA (337) 898-9595.
