Cheryl Turner Istre

A memorial service will be held at a later date honoring the life of Cheryl Turner Istre, who passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 6, 2017 in Elkhart Texas at the age of 50.
Cheryl was born on August 26, 1966 in Abbeville, to Jeffery James Turner Sr and Linda Lee Touchet Turner. She is survived by one daughter, Heather Nicole Istre of Abbeville. Cheryl was the oldest of five siblings: sisters, Jill Turner Rageur of Henry, Cindy Turner of Abbeville, Denise Turner of Henry, and one brother, Jeffery Turner Jr and wife Aimee Leblanc Turner of Erath. Cheryl was the proud aunt of two nephews and three nieces. Cheryl also leaves behind her significant other, Roy Welch, of Elkhart Texas.
Cheryl's friendliness and kindness to all people, and her devotion and love for animals and family is a tribute to the beauty of her heart. Her inspiring presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to have known her.
