Andrus Percy Pigron
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2015, at 2:00 PM in Delhomme Funeral Home in Maurice for Andrus Percy Pigron, 85, who passed away on Monday, May 4, 2015 at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Interment will be held in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery in Leroy.
Reverend Johnathan Janise, Pastor of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Leroy, will conduct the funeral services.
Percy was born in Breaux Bridge, lived in Lafayette and relocated to Vermilion Parish about 40 years ago. He loved the outdoors, enjoyed gardening and was a general "Jack of all Trades". He loved his family and especially spending time with the grandchildren. Percy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by beloved wife of 50 years, Jeannet Primeaux Pigron; six children, Melanie Roy, Troy Primeaux and his wife Tanya, Tana Pigron John and her husband Mickey, Maggie Pigron Legé and her husband "Bozo", Monica Pigron Broussard and her husband Chris and Vickie Barthe; sixteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and five siblings, Jimmy Pigron, Elie Pigron, Mazie Pigron Barthe, Aline Pigron Broussard and Edna Pigron Boudreaux.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Edna Badon Pigron; and five siblings, Laura Gautreaux, Estelle Pigron, Erma Elias, Rita Ann Pigron and Whitney Pigron.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 in Delhomme Funeral Home in Maurice, from 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM. A Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM on Wednesday evening in the funeral home. Visiting hours will continue on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
Pallbearers will be Gage Richard, Jordon Legé, Thomas John, Matt Primeaux, Bozo Legé and Chris Broussard.
