Loston “Bubba” Joseph Bourque, Jr.

Memorial Services will be held on Monday, October 24, 2016 at 11:00 AM in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille, for Loston "Bubba" Joseph Bourque, Jr., 58, who died on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Reverend Msgr. Ronald Broussard, Pastor of Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church in Carencro, will conduct the Memorial services. Eulogist will be Louis Perret.
Survivors include his sister, LaNell Bourque Melancon and her husband Richard; his nieces, Sandi K. Hernandez (Ryan), Kristy M. Segura (Justin), Tara M. Greer (Robert); his great niece, Emarie LaRue Greer; his step nephews, Adam Melancon (Adrienne) and John Melancon (Kelli); his great step nephew, Mason Melancon; his great step nieces, Adelyn and Madeline Melancon; and his adopted step mom, Annie Lou T. Lege.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Loston Bourque, Sr. and LaRue S. Bourque; and his sisters, Laura Bourque and Lisa Bourque.
A native of Kaplan and a resident of Lafayette, Bubba owned and operated the Southway Exxon in Lafayette for over 40 years. He was a proud supporter and devout fan of ULL sports. In his memory, the family invites friends and family to join them for a final Tailgating in Bubba's memory by wearing your favorite red ULL attire for his service. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew and loved him.
The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille's DOWNTOWN location on Monday from 9:00 AM until time of service.
