Corine Couvillon Romero

ABBEVILLE — Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Corine Couvillon Romero, 90 years, who died Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Eastridge Assisted Living Center. She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Fr. Michael Richard officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Eric Moss, Errol LeBlanc, J.B. Duhon, Cory Moss, Scott Moss, Blake Romero, and Jonathon LeBlanc.
She is survived by her son, Keith Romero and his wife, Renee’; three daughters, Rebecca and her husband, Eric Moss, Suzanne and her husband, Errol LeBlanc, and Janice and her husband, J.B. Duhon; 10 grandchildren, Cory, Scott, Amy, Ashley, Nicole, Jonathon, Blake, Maria, Kristi, and Katie; and 19 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman J. Romero; her parents, Raoul Couvillon and the former Lucy Broussard; four brothers, Roy, Earl, Harold, and Andrew Couvillon; one sister, Mae Bouillion; and one great grandson, Thailan Moss.
Special thanks and gratitude to Jane Bouton, Sandra Lively, Catherine Hoffpauir, the staff at Eastridge Assisted Living Center, Acadian Home Health and Palliative Care, The Gray Brigade, and her rosary group for their prayers, care, and support.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Friday October 7, 2016 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Saturday, October 8, 2016 from 8:00 AM until 10:45 AM.
