Herman Montgomery

DELCAMBRE – A Mass of Christian Burial for Herman “China” Montgomery is scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 8, 2016 at St. Martin De Porres Catholic Church in Delcambre, LA with interment in Lady of the Lake Cemetery. Father Nathan Comeaux will be the Celebrant.
Herman “China” Montgomery (75), a long time resident of Delcambre, LA passed away Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Abbeville General Hospital.
He leaves to mourn his passing, his lovely wife, Reveline Trahan Montgomery of Delcambre, LA; three children, Morticia Montgomery Thompson (Harold) of Erath, LA; Patricia Montgomery Johnson (Ray) of Bossier City, LA; and Detrich Montgomery of Delcambre, LA; two siblings, Warren Montgomery of Abbeville, LA; and Emilie Montgomery Obey of Lafayette, LA; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ollie Montgomery and Selina Wiltz Montgomery; three brothers, Richard Montgomery, Orien Montgomery, and Alger Montgomery; and one sister, Genieva Hunter.
Visitation will take place at St. Martin De Porres Church Saturday, October 8, 2016 from 8:00 A.M. until time of service.
